- Any element you select within a layer can be edited independently of any other elements on that layer. And for the purposes of this video, every editing option we'll discuss can be used in both vector and bitmap layers. And go ahead and go on over to scene 33, panel 5. We're going to play with that panel for a few minutes here. You see it listed here on the left and we're using the animation numbering so you can find it. So let's talk about scale first. For scaling, let's go ahead and select what's called the ink layer with the boy on it. I'm going to use my selector tool, and I'm going to draw all the way around him, so I'll select his entire body. So scale is any of the corners I can grab. And I can scale up or down. Now, if I'm just, notice I can squash him out of shape here because I'm not holding down any other keys. However, if I hold down the Shift, now I'm scaling him in proper ratio. But notice, he's also moving to a different direction. So, the scaling happens towards the…
