- [Instructor] Some 3D objects like this car consist of sub-objects, you know, smaller pieces. So using the 3D Graph, you could separate a 3D sub-object and edit just its position. So let's go ahead and open up the 3D Graph. I'm going to go under Windows, and open up the 3D Graph. We spoke earlier different ways you can open this up. Let's make this a little bit smaller. And I know just from having played with it that Group9 is the front door of this vehicle. But notice here the Mesh under our Group9, that's got that little icon of graphics on it. That's what we need to separate, not this other squiggly line. So, in order to open that door, let's say we want that car door open, I'm going to right-click on the object and you can tell the object because when you click on it, it turns green, and I'm going to Separate Sub-Objects. Now if you look under our layers, it created a new layer just for the door! So I can…
