Bring 3D models into Storyboard Pro
- [Instructor] Bringing 3D models into a Storyboard Pro project is easy. But first you have to import them into a very specific library. So let's go over to our library tab on the right. And you'll see different libraries available to you. Most of these are ones that I created for myself. The defaults are 3D models, shared, global, and templates. Those come with the program. Go to 3D models. I have some I've already loaded in here. To get a 3D model into your library, it's simple. Just hover over the area here on the right. Right-click on it. And click import files. Find any FBX file or one of the other formats that Storyboard Pro can import, like OBJ here. Select it, and click open. It's that simple. It will then show up here. Usually with a little thumbnail, although you might not always see a thumbnail. Once you have your models in, you simply just grab one, and drag it in. And then choose if you want it to be rendered as a 2D or a 3D model.
