- [Illustrator] When you convert a scene or a shot to 3D, you can have both 3D and 2D elements as you can see here. The problem with 2D elements in a 3D scene is they have no depth. So as you circle around a flat drawing, as we're doing, it will seem to disappear when you get to looking right at the edge of it. Now, there are two ways to fix this. One, with key frame transforms on the 2D layers or the other using the face of the camera tool. So let's take a look at how to do each of these. I have my drawings separated into two layers. I always do an ink layer and I do a fill layer. So the key frames, I'm going to actually put the key frame animation onto the group, rather than each individual layer. That helps save a lot of time.
