3D formats - Storyboard Pro Tutorial
From the course: Storyboarding in 3D with Storyboard Pro
3D formats
- [Instructor] There are a number of 3D files that Storyboard Pro can import. Let's take a look. If I go over to my 3D models library, and I go to import, let's take a look at theses. There's actually more than show up. But the types of 3D file formats that Storyboard Pro can import are FBX, which are Filmbox, open SG binary, or OSB, 3ds Max, or .3ds, Wavefront, or OBJ, Olympic, or .abc, or COLLADA, .dae. You can choose to import your model in its original format, and then select convert to FBX format. Converting your file into FBX on import will make sure that all of its textures are consolidated within the model for your project.
