(soft music) - [Instructor] Let's have a look at the solutions to the count data challenges. The first challenge was to load and explore the articles data that comes attached to the session. Let's go ahead and do that. Use articles. And next, let's describe this data using the describe command. This data set contains 915 observations, and six variables. The variables appear to be related to academics. In fact, this data counts a number of articles, new academics in biochemistry have published since the completion of their PhD. There are also some demographic variables such as gender, and the number of children. Let's take a look at the data using summarize, summarize. Here we see that the variable art is possibly a count data as it ranges from zero to 19. Female is a binary indicator, mar for marriage is a binary indicator, and kid five counts the number of children below the age of six. Phd is a prestige…
