Customizing your preferences

- [Instructor] In this session we're going to explore how to customize Stata and how to set up preferences. We'll be looking at general settings, graph settings, and how to change our language of choice. We'll also briefly look at the set command and the array of options that particular command offers. So let's head off to Stata and explore what settings are available to us. Stata settings can be reached by clicking on the edit menu and then scrolling down to preferences. Here, we'll find further options called general preferences, graph preferences, user interface language, and we can load, save, or delete prior preference sets. Note that Stata already comes in build with a few preference sets. In particular, it comes with preference sets that can help you when you're presenting your Stata on a projected type mechanism. So let's have a look at the general preferences available to us. Here, we have the option to change our color scheme. By default, Stata uses a black and white scheme.…
