- [Instructor] Let's explore how to add custom text to Stata graphs, including bold and italic font styles. Many of these actions can be performed within the graph editor. However, we're going to focus on how to embed these kind of actions in the relevant Stata code. The advantage of this is that custom text will always be generated straight into your graph, thereby greatly reducing the need to do manual edit of your graph. Here's an example of a graph with custom text labels and text. It includes titles, notes, marker labels, and a text box that has bold and italic text. We're going to introduce various graph options in this session. These options include the mlabel option, which allows us to label markers. Title options include title, subtitle, X and Y titles, and notes, which allow us to title particular regions of our graph, and the text option, which allows us to add custom text to specific regions in the graph.…
