Managing email with a custom domain name
- [Instructor] Now that you have a domain name, how about email? You may want an email address that ends in your domain name. For example, if you worked at LinkedIn, you'd have an email address like info@linkedin.com. If you're Audrey Topsy from Topsy Turvy Cake Design, you'd want audrey@topsyturvycakedesign.com. If you want to similar type of address for your work, it's possible to do this using G suite. Most of the website providers covered in this course are capable of integrating your domain name with your website and your email. There are some technical settings you'll need to configure, which vary from platform to platform. You'll need to find the right help in order to walk you through how to configure the settings. Once you've done this, you'll be able to access your email within the Gmail environment. But when you send the email it will come from your domain name, not from gmail.com.
