In this video, learn how to create an events page for the website and create all of the events that will need to be displayed. It's important to create the events first before working on how they will display.
- [Jen] Squarespace has a great way … of entering a bunch of events for your website, … then you can choose how those events will display … once you've created them and entered them. … In this video, we're going to focus … on getting the events set up. … And then in the next video, … we'll focus on how they are going to display. … So to get started here, … from your top-level main navigation, … if you're not already there, go into Pages, … and then next to the words MAIN NAVIGATION here, … go ahead and click on the plus sign, … and you'll see one of the things … that we can add to our website is Events, … and we'll go ahead and choose that. … And this is going to give us two default displays for events, … Events 1 and Events 2. … Well, ultimately, I am going to want to have a big banner … at the top of my Events page, … so I'm going to go ahead and choose Events 2, … and I'm going to rename this to Events. … And then I'm going to go back to that MAIN NAVIGATION, … and you can just click and drag it into the right order. …
