- [Robert] Continuous integration has been a development standard for a number of years, driven by the ability and need to improve developer efficiencies. Now that same model of automation is being applied to the operations environment with continuous delivery and deployment tools. Spinnaker is one of the key tools being used to automate and manage continuous delivery pipelines with a flexible service model and a solid set of continuous integration tool options. In this course I will walk through a set of examples that highlight the initial deployment and set up process for getting started with Spinnaker. In addition we'll look at the process of integrating Spinnaker with continuous integration tools like Docker and Git on github.com, to automate the code to operations pipeline. And of course we'll build all of this on a Kubernetes platform to get the best benefits of a modern cloud native environment. I'm Robert Starmer, and as a founder of Cumulus Technologies I'm constantly enabling the latest tools, and the development space to accelerate cloud targeted deployments, so join me in my Linkedin Learning course as we explore Spinnaker and add continuous deployment to your development environment.
