(sound waves) - [Voiceover] Now that we understand how to tune our oscillators relative to each other, let's get a better understanding of the different tone colors each oscillator can produce. Each oscillator has a selection of wave forms. Each wave form has a different set of harmonics that make it up. I'm going to go back to templates. Template. And again, select "1 osc 1 vca." Or, if you already have the template category selected, go to its right and you'll find the "1 osc 1 vca" is pretty near the top of the list. That preset called "harmonic series" is one I created for an earlier movie in this course. It does not normally come with the presets. The wave shape icon applies to the jack above it. So, in this case, since this batch is this jack by default it's using a sawtooth wave by default. That is that bright, brassy sound. (musical notes) You see the sawtooth wave shape.
