(plays keyboard) - [Instructor] In the previous chapter, we touched on the idea of using some of the filter settings such in Coupler Mode and Band Reject to alter the tonal balance of the equalization of the sound you are working on. Go ahead and pass this down to normal filters or whatever you like. But then change the character of it using an additional filter. This is sometimes referred to as Resonance Modeling or Format Modeling. When you're in a room that has particularly peaks and valleys to change the tone of the sound. Well it so happens that Arturia Modular V comes with a couple specialized filters that are really good at creating these resonances and format type of vocal sounds. I'm going to change my template to choose Pulse Two so that we have a nice pulse wave. (plays keyboard) I think I'll go ahead and add a second pulse just to make this fatter.
