(synthesizer music) - [Narrator] In the last few movies in this chapter, we're going to talk about adding effects to your patch. Now you can create some quite interesting sounds just by patching together the modules inside a synthesizer, but you can add that final layer of icing, or that final gloss coat on your sound, by adding effects to add that special sheen. And Modular V has some pretty versatile effects. I'm going to load up another template patch, in this case Template, two oscillators pulse with modulation. A nice bold sound. (synthesizer music) And just for fun I'm going to add some glide here. So we get a little bit of extra zing. (synthesizer music) As we go in between notes. (synthesizer music) There we go. As you saw, you have to scroll down in Modular V to get down to the effects section. There's two effects modules built in. One, is a delay line.
