(synthesizer notes) - [Instructor] The last effect we're going to cover is one that Moog was, and still is, very famous for, their 12-stage phase shifter, which creates a really deep swimming sound. I'm going to use another template patch, in this case I'm going to go with two oscillators mono. I'm going to fatten it up a little bit, I'm going to add a little bit of release, so the notes ring out, drop one of the oscillators down an octave. And maybe even use a square wave because I'm trying to come up with a nice assortment of harmonics to play with because the way the phase shifters work is it takes a copy of the signal, varies the phase of it, and then mixes the copy back on top of the original, and then uses that to cancel out, or reinforce, the harmonics in the original signal.
