- On this next song, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," we're going to play a drag. And a drag is just a bounce note followed by a single note, okay. A drag sounds like this. (drumming) I'm hitting two notes with bounce stick and then a single note with the other stick. This is another fill that Tre Cool plays in "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." It goes like this. One, two, one, two, three. (drumming) So, that fill starts off with some eighth notes on the crash cymbal and some snare notes and pumping eighth notes on the bass drum. It goes like this.
