- The next beat we're going to learn is from Runnin' Down a Dream and it's from Tom Petty's classic album Full Moon Fever. And the drummer Phil Jones plays something similar to the beat we just played except he plays instead of quarter notes on the crash cymbal, like Meg White played on Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground, we're going to play quarter notes on the hi-hat. And we're just going to play snare drum on beat two and four and we're going to play bass drum on beats one and three. And we're going to play the whole thing in a little bit faster tempo than the last beat we learned. So it sounds like this. (steady drum playing)
