- Hopefully, we've laid some great foundations for building technique, and really building a strong foundation for flat picking. What we're gonna move in to now is playing rhythm. You're gonna actually start playing some music, and putting some things together to really move this along. Rhythm and even playing rhythmically is what we're really gonna work on. I mean, there's rhythm playing that we're gonna discuss all throughout the site, but one of the key points that I'm gonna make is learning to think about even your single note playing and leads and solos rhythmically. So, I feel like a way to do that is to, you know, we're gonna start a way that encourages growth. Again, we're gonna start slowly, and I think there's gonna be a lot of people, if you're new to this kind of guitar. It's a steel-string acoustic guitar playing Bluegrass.
