- The fundamentals we cover here help us establish, maintain tone, maintain good rhythmically informed playing, and overall musicality. And again, we're calling that flow. One of the ways that the site works, one of the things that I thought about in developing the curriculum is ways to challenge that sense of flow. When the sense of flow, once established, is challenged, it actually becomes deeper. And some of these challenges, some of these things that we come across throughout the curriculum are transitions, physical transitions on the neck, transitions into playing at faster tempos. The key here that we work on is learning to adapt this sense of flow to whatever the challenge may be here. So we look at some of the potential mistakes, when we talk about good practice habits. We talk about not wanting to practice mistakes. Let's talk a little bit more about what those may be. We're all gonna miss notes. We'll get lost, we'll play bad notes.
