- [Instructor] There are a few things you should know before watching this course. This course is targeted at innovators, engineers, developers, and IT professionals who want to study IoT. It is also for those who want know about low power wireless communication networking principles, and the technologies for the internet of things. The course contents are mostly self-contained. It would help if you have some knowledge of computer networks such as OSI reference model and TCP/IP protocol suite, or network configurations. But it's not necessary. In a few videos, I will reference some IoT boards and use them as examples. It is not necessary to purchase this hardware or download any software to follow along with the course.
