Principles for high-performing teams

- We've talked about the importance of creating empowered teams and a growth mindset in order to a create a culture of learning and experimentation. The importance of psychological safety of investing in your people of creating a learning culture, so here are some principles to think about as you implement these ideas. Number one, the job of effective leadership is to create empowered, autonomous teams. And leadership should, second of all, work to create alignment and transparency so that those teams can move together in pursuit of the same organizational purpose and goals. Number three, managers should be helping teams to learn and improve in pursuit of those organizational goals. Number four, create psychological safety, give teams the tools and resources they need. And number five, practice failure and learn how to improve based on those failures.
