In this network there are three networks; a local wireless network on the left, a public IP network in the middle and a proprietary network on the right. For example with servers providing application services or cloud services. There are many measurement points we can place in a network. We can put our measurement points in the wireless network so that we can check the performance matrix over a communication link between two end devices. We can also measure the performance of data transmissions over a communication path between a cloud service and end device across the IP network.
