- [Narrator] Now let's see where to measure these performance matrix in an IoT system. In this network there are three networks; a local wireless network on the left, a public IP network in the middle and a proprietary network on the right. For example with servers providing application services or cloud services. There are many measurement points we can place in a network. We can put our measurement points in the wireless network so that we can check the performance matrix over a communication link between two end devices. We can also measure the performance of data transmissions over a communication path between a cloud service and end device across the IP network. Now let's see some pieces of equipment and tools for the performance management. An IoT wireless network often needs to be monitored in order to check or analyze its over the air data traffic, watch the performance parameters and performance diagnostic analysis.
