- [Instructor] Now that we managed to build our code successfully, we want to make our build plan a bit more dynamic by parametrizing it. In Bamboo, we referred to parametrize as variables and there are five types of variables which we need to know in order to understand where and when to use which type of variables and why they are there. So the first type of variables is called global variables, and global variables can be defined only by administrators and they are accessible across the entire Bamboo instance so anywhere within Bamboo instance, you can use those variables. And the second type is the system variables or environmental variables. System variables and/or environmental variables are accessible across the Bamboo instance basically anywhere in the Bamboo. And their value comes from the system, for example about the Bamboo properties, or they come from the operating system's environmental variables which have the same name.
