- [Facilitator] The Start Page is front and center of Visual Studio when it is launched. The page is divided into five sections. The first section is Get Started. It contains links to videos and blog posts that help you get up to speed quickly. The next section is Recent. It holds a list of projects, solutions and folders that you recently opened. The Open section is where you can quickly open a project, solution or folder locally, or you can get code from a website, ftp or remote source control site. In the New Project section, you can begin your next project from a template. It keeps a list of the most recently used project templates. Developer News is the final section. You can keep yourself up-to-date on Visual Studio news. To get rid of the Start Page, simply click the close button.
