- Let's talk about text. Your application has a lot of different kinds of text in it, but it's important to know that not all text needs to go into your repository of translated text for each language you support. Firstly, for things that you do need to include, there's probably some amount of text that appears in your application that comes from strings that are defined in code. Those need to be added to your repository. There are also text elements that are displayed on-screen in menus and interfaces. Those also need to be added to your repository. You may also have entire separate text files that are loaded. For example, an end-user license agreement, a terms of service document or a help file. Those also need to be added to your repository. In terms of things that don't need to be added, there is text that appears in your code but never makes it on-screen to the user in any way.
