- [Instructor] In this topic I want to show you my after install script and explain why do we have an after install script. The reason that I have this script is that when you deploy your package to a different environment you have to have proper configuration file with your application because when you build your application in your build pan in Bamboo you will create an artifact which is kind of environment-agnostic and then you will deploy that artifact to different environments such as your QA, staging and production. And every time that artifact goes to a different environment, it needs a different configuration file. Obviously when you are in QA environment you don't want to have access to, for example, production database, production credentials, production web services, therefore you need a specific configuration file for the QA environment.
