Changing your locale in iOS

- For testing localized IOS applications, I would highly recommend that you do your testing on an actual device, and not just in a simulator. For IOS, there aren't any applications or solutions for testing just one application in a target locale. You'll need to actually come into the Settings, and change your System Display Language. Now here under General, and I recommend that you memorize this icon, there's an option down towards the bottom, that says Language and Region. I would recommend that you familiarize yourself with the exact structure and order of these menus so that you can change your language back to English when you need to. I'm gonna choose Language and Region here, and I can choose a different iPhone language. Here I'm going to go ahead and choose Japanese. When I click Done, it's going to ask for confirmation. And then it's going to restart the phone and reinitialize the applications in a new language. Now in my own experience, this can sometimes leave some…
