- The Internet of Things is changing business processes through the automated collection of business intelligence. Now IoT products can interface directly with business systems, circumventing the need to manually input and extract data. Interfacing products directly with the CRM system or Customer Relationship Management System enables the enterprise to track customer requirements and needs. If, for example, a tire manufacturer senses tire tread, they can notify the fleet manager when a tire is becoming unsafe and offer them a deal to replace it.
