- [Instructor] So, my Bamboo Build Agent server is ready. Before we connect to it, I have to show you that we need to open two ports on the Bamboo Server, because the Bamboo Agent and the Bamboo Server communicate on a bi-directional connection, and the initial connection is made by the agent to the server. And from there, once you attempt to get your server, the agent on the server, then the server starts communicating with the agent. That's how agent understands when the server wants it to build a source code or clone a source code, and get it from source control system, and build it. This connection is called JMS, and it happens, it's a type of, like a TCP-based connection, and it happens on port 54663. 54663. And the second version of it works with 54667. So you need to open these two ports on your Bamboo Server, and allow inbound traffic on those two ports.
