Introducing action in the timeline
In the previous lesson, we use some timeline tricks to divide a clip into separate segments so that I could apply effects to only part of a clip. Now we're going to apply the effect to this new divided segment. What I'd like to do is we're going to create tracking on this clip to match the camera action in the clip underneath. If you want to track a clip in the timeline, the effect that you're going to use is the action effect. This is a major change in Smoke 2015 by the way, in previous versions of Smoke the only way to access the action module. Was inside of Connect Effects. Now in later lessons we are going to go into the Connect Effects area of Smoke. And create complex scenes including the actual action module inside of Connect Effects.
