- Now, the good news is for all these other retailers we just have a few alterations to make. It's safer to use the universal method table of contents but if you want you can try the Amazon table of contents but you're gonna have to preview it whenever possible to make sure it works. And do remember at the end of your book, as I mentioned before with Smashwords, to delete any links that go to Amazon. Now, Draft2Digital will accept any formatting you do but of course you want it to be as professional as possible. And they accept newer and older versions of Word, both doc and docx and also EPUB but they won't do any conversions to EPUB. For Kobo I have found that my Amazon table of contents works fine and they do have a built-in editor. Again, they also accept both versions of Word or EPUB.
