- [Instructor] After creating your account…I recommend customizing your Skype profile.…Since Skype is a communication tool…it's important to take the time to do this…including adding a photo, as well as…some basic information about yourself.…Right now I'm on the Skype website and I'm logged in…as you can see in the upper right-hand corner,…but what I wanna do is to open up the desktop version now.…And this is the desktop version on Windows of Skype.…From here in the upper left corner…you'll notice my name as well as initials.…If I click on this, it brings up this popup box…and allows me to customize a few things.…
The first is my picture, and I do recommend…adding a profile picture.…I'm going to go ahead and click on the profile picture,…and this brings up my files on my computer…and I have an image on my desktop that I want to select.…So as you can see I've done that,…and now my picture appears inside of here.…Over here on the right I can click on the pencil icon…and I can change my name if I'd like to,…and also down here it says tell your friends…
