Scenes in SketchUp LayOut

- [Instructor] When using LayOut, it can take some time to set up the viewport so the model is observed the way you want. Creating scenes in the SketchUp model beforehand streamlines the process and makes editing a breeze. Here we have a basic model of a house. There are three scenes already created for you; front view, floor plan and kitchen elevation. There are a couple of things we need to change on each scene so they are set up for paper space and layout. We can do this either in SketchUp so the changes are saved to the model or do it within LayOut. Let's first try it in LayOut. Click the send to LayOut icon. Choose any template. The viewport that is inserted to LayOut is the most recently saved scene in SketchUp. The first viewport should be the front view of the house. Click on the viewport and in the default tray, find the SketchUp model toolbar. The scene that we want is front view, it's already on there. Sometimes…
