Exporting and importing files

In this lesson, I'll show you how to export images created in SketchBook Pro. SketchBook profiles may also be saved in other file formats. However, they may flatten or compress the layers into a single image. To begin, let's demonstrate some of these options. As we go to the File, we have two options here. Obviously saving will allow us to save it as its native TIF file. Let's take a look at Save As. You can go ahead and rename your file and you also have a variety of file formats in addition to TIF. Let's go ahead and save this as an Adobe Photoshop PSD file, as it allows us to maintain our layers.

Go ahead and save this Adobe Photoshop, okay. Now let's go ahead and go to Photoshop and open that file, Export2. As you can see, as the file opened it maintained all of those layers as we had in our original SketchBook Pro TIF file. Now let's go ahead and go back to SketchBook Pro. File > Save As and rather than saving it either as a TIF or a Photoshop file, let's...
