The axes

- [Instructor] The red, green and blue lines running through your drawing area are the axes, and they are a very important part of drawing within SketchUp. The red and the green axes run horizontally along the ground plain, and the blue axis runs vertically, straight up and down your 3D model. These help keep your lines plumb and your corners at 90-degree angles when appropriate. We will see the axis utilized in videos to come as we learn more tools, such as moving geometry along the axis as well as drawing geometry aligned with the axis.
