Work with lights and materials

Once you've imported your assets from SketchUp, you can manipulate things such as lighting and materials to make a little bit more realistic. Now by default, materials come in pretty flat and there's not a lot of shininess going on, so if you want to add that to your materials, you can certainly do that by editing them. Now if we look at the scene here, you'll see we have the glass in the scene. If you want we can take a look at our materials, and we can select transparent glass blue, and so this is our glass for the scene. As you can see, we do have the transparency, but we don't have the shininess, so we can turn up smoothness. You'll see that adds a little bit of shininess, and if you want, we can change this to a specular set up and that will give it a little bit more specularity and a little bit more shininess.
