V-Ray light types: Sunlight

- [Instructor] There are three main lighting elements in the V-Ray engine that are setup and they're ready to work with each and every time we create a new scene in SketchUp. These are indirect or bounce light, curtesy of V-Ray's global illumination engines. We have a natural looking daylight simulation which is provided by the built-in V-Ray sun and sky environment. We also have a view of the scene that makes use of a physical camera model at render time. Giving us the ability to render our scenes in a very photographic way. That having been said, however, if I go ahead and take a render of the scene that we have, you can see that what we get after a little while is a completely black return. This is because I have deliberately set the scene up so as to force us to have to manually build the lighting system that we would normally get by default, hopefully helping us familiarize ourselves with the components that make up V-Ray's daylighting system in the process. Do keep in mind…
