V-Ray light types: Sphere
- [Instructor] The next light type that we come across on the lights toolbox is the sphere light. Now, in essence, having already looked at the controls for the V-Ray Rectangle Light, we have seen much of what the sphere light has to offer, although, that of course, shouldn't prevent us from taking a quick look at the options found here. To do so, we will naturally need to add a sphere light to our scene. And so, let's come to the Lights toolbar, click the Sphere option and then with the first left click, we can set the sphere lights location in the scene and then with the second, we can fix its size, which in this instance is important given that the sphere light is again, a genuine area light. Meaning that both illumination and shadows will be affected by its size in the scene. Let's leave this fairly small to start with and again, position it on on the blue axis.
