V-Ray frame buffer overview
- [Instructor] One very powerful toolset that V-Ray brings to SketchUp can be found in the guise of the V-Ray Frame Buffer, or VFB for short. Far from being just a viewing window for the images that we are creating, the V-Ray Frame Buffer is a production-strength set of tools in its own right which is why in this video, we're going to take a quick tour of the Frame Buffer interface and look briefly at some of the extremely useful options that it brings to the table. We can quickly open the V-Ray Frame Buffer by clicking the icon found on the V-Ray for SketchUp toolbar and if we have already taken a render in the scene we are working with as I have here, then the Frame Buffer window will open with that last render already loaded in. Across the top of the window, we find a number of useful tools and options, such as the ability to access the various RGB and alpha channels of our render.
