- [Instructor] Hi, Scott Onstott here. This week I'm going to discuss using SketchUp and a BIM program together, such as Autodesk Revit. We can use the IFC file format, which is an industry standard format. It's called the Industry Foundation Class format, and it's used for exchanging BIM data. So, we can do that by creating a custom component here in SketchUp, and then we can classify it and then bring it into Revit. So, I could model something from scratch, or to save time, I think in this case, I'll just avail myself of the 3D Warehouse, and I've already loaded the Herman Miller Collection in here. I'll just open that up. And this is a great source of well-made furniture. I'm just going to select a chair here that I'll download and load directly into my model. I'll just place it here. And then I'll go to Entity Info, with that selected, and get a better look at it here. So, there's a number of Advanced Attributes that you can use here. And if you don't see that, you'll have to…
