Use math functions to create arrays

- [George] Hi, I'm George Maestri, and today we're going to take a look at how to create arrays and duplicate objects regularly, using just a little bit of math in SketchUp. So let's go ahead and get started. Now I'm going to create a simple column. So I'm going to start off with a circle, drag that out a little bit, and then just push pull that up into something like a cylinder. Now I'm going to go ahead and select this and group it, just to make it easier to select and copy as well. So now I have this simple object and you can imagine this maybe being the column or a fence post or something like that. And with things like columns and fence posts we have to duplicate them regularly over a distance. So let me show you a little trick for how to do that very easily. So if we wanted to copy this we could very easily just take the move tool, highlight it, and then hold down the control key.
