Now if you've ever been confused by construction details then this series is definitely for you. So join me Paul Smith as I unpick our Canada house and rebuild it in SketchUp step by step explaining each principle and decision-making process on the way. The reason for the confusion with construction details is simple there are too many variables so let's not focus on those let's focus on the principles that drive these details and look at some really interesting ways of putting them together. There's only really a few things you need to consider. Keep the rain out, keep the heat in, and control the moisture and that's what we'll be looking at for this series. But not only that we'll be looking at the generation of 2D details from our 3D model, some basic rendering and visualization techniques that'll be good enough for any technical publication.
