UV mapping with SketchUV

- [Instructor] Hi, I'm George Maestri. Today we're going to look at mapping, specifically UV mapping. Now we're going to be using a specific plug-in, and that's called SketchUV. So if we go into our Extension Warehouse, we type in SketchUV. It should come up. And this plug-in is a free plug-in, and it allows you to do some basic UV mapping. Now the mapping by default in SketchUp leaves something to be desired. So this will, hopefully, fill in some of the holes. So if you haven't installed it, go ahead and install it now. And it should show up here, under SketchUV in the extensions menu. So I have this scene here, and I've got a couple of objects that we're going to map. So we have an upholstered chair and a cylinder. So I'm going to go into my layers window, and just go ahead and click on upholstered to hide it, and let's go ahead and start with that cylinder. So I'm going to go ahead and zoom in.
