- [Instructor] In order for us all to be on the same page, as it were, in terms of the software that we're using in this update chapter, I just wanted to show you here that everything presented has been recorded using V-Ray version 3.60.03 inside SketchUp Make version 17.2.2555. Now if it is that you are using a later version of SketchUp and or V-Ray, then everything presented here should be very much applicable, although UI layout and tool names may possibly be a little different, in some cases. Also, in order to make certain that you are getting the best out of the provided exercise files download, there is a little bit of setup that I would recommend running through. From the window menu in the SketchUp UI then, let's open up our preferences dialog. And in the file section, point at the very least, our models and texture images options to the exercise files download for this update chapter, which is located on the desktop, in my case.
