Software versions used in this course
- One of the things that it will be important for you to know as you start to work along with this course are the version numbers of the software tools that I am going to be using in the presentations, namely both the SketchUp and V-Ray applications. On the SketchUp side of things, I am going to be using SketchUp Make version 17.2.2555 64 bit, which was downloaded from SketchUp.com. And in the V-Ray camp, I'm working with version 3.40.04, which again you can download after logging in this time with your account details at ChaosGroup.com. Now if you are going to be working with versions that are different than these, then you may run into some anomalies as regard the features and UI layouts that you are seeing. Hopefully, though, this won't have any significant impact on your ability to both work through and learn from the vast majority of this course.
