- [Instructor] This week I'm going to talk about seeing through walls and ceilings, and this becomes essential when you want to work on a space from above. So here's this room, and I can't see through it. What we're seeing in this blue color are the back faces of these surfaces. Now, I have set up a layer here for the walls, so I can toggle the walls off, and I could work on the interior of the room when the walls are off, but that's less than ideal because, you know, it's helpful to see the walls and to see when things are up against them. So we need some kind of way to get the best of both worlds where we see the walls and yet we can still work on the objects inside the room. So the first thing that you might consider is using x-ray mode, and this is part of the style. So if I go into Style Edit, I can go in here and toggle on x-ray mode, and this allows me to see through all of the surfaces of the wall and the ceiling, and that's helpful, but I can't really work in here, because if…
