Position textures interactively

- Hi, I'm George Maestri and, today, we're going to take a look at how to position your textures interactively in SketchUp. So let's go ahead and just build a simple object and then apply a texture. I'm going to create a brick wall. So I'm going to go ahead and drag out a rectangle and let's make that, say, 12 feet by six inches. And then let's pull that up into a wall. So I'm going to use my push/pull tool and we'll pull that up eight feet to make a wall. Now, this isn't a brick wall until we add a brick texture, so let's go ahead and do a File, Import. We want to make sure we're on JPEG Image here and we want to check the Texture radio button. Now, I'm going to select BrickWall.jpeg and Import. Now, you've probably done this before, but this will stick to this wall, so I'm going to go ahead and snap to that endpoint, left click and drag, and just kind of scale this out. Now, when I left click the second time, it will tile that material. Now, if I look in my Materials window here…
