Multimatte, part 2
- [Instructor] Having completed the setup of our scene for use with the Multi Matte render element by adding object IDs to the scenes geometry, let's go ahead and take a look now at how we actually go about using the Multi Matte element itself. In the Render Elements rollout in the Asset Editor then let's click to add just a single Multi Matte element to the list, and noticed that we have no set of perimeters that need to be tweaked at all. In fact, with the element added, we can just go ahead and render. What we get in the Vray Frame Buffer, once the render is complete, is a three color matte that can easily be used to separate the various elements in our scene, using a compositing package such as Fusion, or After Effects. What if we wanted to create mattes for more than just three groups of objects though? Well the cool thing here is that we can easily create as many Multi Mattes as we need in order to accomplish the task at hand. For instance, let's suppose that in this case…
