- [Instructor] The move tool allows us…to move entities like this coffee table.…To activate the move tool,…you can click on the icon here or the letter M.…Click and release on the coffee table…to move it around the model.…You can see that it is sinking down below the rug,…which is a common frustration.…Kind of seems like the coffee table is in quicksand.…So to keep from doing that,…its helpful to grab by the bottom corner of entities…when we're moving them around.…The move tool will not allow us to move…the coffee table lower than the click point.…
Click and release to set the coffee table back down.…Another common frustration…is accidentally moving something nearby,…like walls and in this case,…the rug because it is so close to the coffee table.…To let go of the rug, you can simply hit the escape key…to let go of that and now select the coffee table.…A good way to keep from accidentally grabbing something…that we don't intend to is to preselect our intended entity.…
