Move the camera view with Orbit and Pan tools
- [Instructor] Often you'll need to move throughout your 3D model to work on, or present, a different area. One way to change what you are seeing in your viewport is the Orbit tool. That's this icon up here, or the letter o on your keyboard. To orbit you'll click and drag on your model from side to side or up and down. A great way to speed up the use of the Orbit tool, is to use the center scroll wheel of your three-button mouse. By clicking and holding this button you can activate the Orbit tool quickly without having to use any shortcut keys. When you release the button, it will return to the tool that you were previously using. Another important viewing tool is the Pan tool. This will allow you to grab and pull your drawing around the screen. To activate the Pan tool you can click on the hand icon here, or use the keyboard shortcut h.
